Have you ever had a manual strategy that requires you to open multiple trades, at market, with different target levels? Let’s just take a simple case where your strategy requires you to open 3 trades at market with 15, 30 and 45 pip targets. Let’s do a walkthrough of the process involved.

First you have to open the MetaTrader 4 order window and select the instant execution option. Since you need to place 3 orders as close as possible to the signal I’m assuming you will hit the Buy or Sell button and repeat the entire process 3 times. Once you have your 3 naked orders in place your stress levels might be on the high side until you set the stop losses for each of your trades. Think of what would happen if you have a power failure or ISP failure now.

Once you have done this you have to manually calculate the stop losses for each trade (the entry might not be the same for all three trades due to market movement). Once you Modify each trade to set the stop loss you have to repeat the process for each of the take profit levels. By the time you do all of this, think for a moment, if the market went in favour of your trade by 20 pips and then reversed? You just missed your first winning trade. Now imagine all of this with the need to dynamically calculate lot sizes based on your equity balance.

Surely there must be an easier way to do this? I was in this place too. Frustrated and angry I created FXTradePlacer.

You can use this EA with any manual strategy that fits this trading method. Once you have set all the values you require (as per your strategy) you have to trigger the EA to take the trade based on a direction.

You have to be able to tell the EA “TAKE A SHORT TRADE NOW!” and not have to worry about all the t/p, s/l and lot size settings. This is called the trigger phase and this is what adds real value to this EA. This method of triggering is unique to this EA. I haven’t seen it anywhere else and it will probably catch on as people begin to use this EA.
